PLANNING - Do's & Don't Of Design Work

Do.....
-Use a clear font that is of an appropriate size
-Use a clear image that is of an appropriate size and in focus
-Use an image suitable for the genre conventions and style

-Use images that are in shape for the page and follow the rule of thirds compositon

-Be careful with the text placement; follow the genre convention

-Use colours appropriate for the image, font and background
-Be careful with the use of font, text & language and image
-Use logos, barcodes, dates, copyright, titles and artist name(s)

 
Dont.....
 -Use a font which is just of interest
-Stretch images, in effect, making them out of focus
-Use unnecessary effecrs, all must be suitable for the genre
-Use seperate images for each panel
-Place text across the artist's face
